Apartment Types
- Walk-ups (also known as low rise or mid-rise apartments (less than 5 stories))
+Closer to street (easier to access your apartment)+Better access to green spaces (trails, parks, gardens)+Usually found in residential neighborhoods “Though this may add time to your commute if you work in the city center, there’s typically less foot and vehicle traffic, less pollution, and a greater sense of community.”+Greater peace Some like the hustle and bustle of the city others like peace and quiet.-Typically older, may carry noise more-Typically more affordable-May have a lack of modern utilities-Lack of elevators (Not necessarily a draw back)
- High-rises (typically more than 10 stories)
+Location, typically located in premium neighborhoods (located in the city)+Doormen to accept packages and added security+Has elevators-More expensive for location and doormen-Less privacy with doormen
